Anyone stayed at HoJo Maingate East or Ramada Gateway?

We stayed @ the Ramada Gateway last Oct for 2 nights.

We LOVED it!

The rooms were huge compared to WDW and most standard hotel rooms.

We also had a MW and Mini Fridge in the room.

I had read previous reviews that warned to only stay in the tower; the other area of the hotel had bad reviews.

So we booked the tower and it was great!

We were on the highway side of the hotel and could sit at our window and watch the FWs @ WDW.

We have discussed using Ramada instead of WDW values anytime in the future that we are not on free dining.

Haha, I just answered your question in another thread, but I'll repost it here too:

I LOVE the HoJo Maingate East! The price was loowwwwww and the room was clean. They have a pool, but I haven't personally used it -- or even seen it, for that matter.

If you're the type of person who likes to hang out at the hotel, then you're probably better off spending a few extra dollars and staying somewhere else. There are no frills here.

However, if you're the type that's only using your hotel room as a place to sleep, then I couldn't recommend this place enough. Clean rooms, hot water, and beds that felt plenty comfortable after spending a full day at the parks.

We've stayed at the Ramada Gateway quite a few times. We really like it. Stay in the tower for sure. The rooms are big and clean. The beds are comfortable and the A/C works well. The is a bathroom area with a vanity that has the mini fridge ( nice sized) and microwave as well as another sink.
