Hello everyone

Just curious if anyone has ever stayed at the Atlantis in the Bahamas? If you did, which part did you stay in (Beach towers, Coral towers or Royal towers)?

My fiance and I have a trip planned to the Bahamas for 3 nights at the Radisson all inclusive on Cable Beach. However we are considering flying in a day or two early and staying at the Atlantis just to see it and experience it a little. We could never afford to stay there for our whole vaca.

Thanks for any info! :)

bumping because I'd like to hear feedback on the Atlantis as well.

DW and I stayed there a while back. I think we were in the coral tower. I wasn't impressed. I mean, the grounds and pool area were certainly beautiful, but outside of that (and since we were there during a rainy week, we didn't even get to utilize that much), there's not that much to do there. And what is there to do, they charge you through the nose for. There's some pretty good restaurants there, but they're really, really expensive, especially for what you're getting.

As another option, get a room at the Comfort Suites across from the Atlantis. You get resort priviledges at Atlantis, which means you can use the pool, walk through the aquarium, etc.

We just got back from Atlantis on June 10th. It was a great trip and we had lots of fun but it was very expensive. There are many, many restaurants on the property and most of our meals were good/great but they were all expensive. It's easy enough to leave the property and eat elsewhere and we did a few times.

We stayed in the royal tower. Our room was on the 14th floor with a view of the harbor. We didn't pay for a particular view so we couldn't complain BUT the harbor is an absolute disaster right now as they are constructing more Atlantis towers! The construction is an eye-sore and can be a little loud when they get cranked up in the morning.

On the positive side, we enjoyed the pools, beaches, slides and aquarium. Our DDs loved it. We also did some adventures away from the Atlantis property.

I've never been there, but I know a lot people go on the 3 or 4 night disney cruises and visit there... you would probably get a lot of feedback on the cruise forum... :thumbsup2
