We are thinking of staying in one of the suites at the hotel and was wondering if it's worth the $$$$$$$. Are the "suite perks" like watching the fireworks or having the breakfast worth it?

Thanks for any advice! Katherine

"Worth" Only you can decide the worth of the item or experience...it is what you and your family will get out of the experience that determines its worth.
Now that being said...we like (really LOVE) staying in the DLH suites, once again this year we will do a 2 bedroom suite; and the first time staying in a remodeled suite.

What we found for our family, it is cheaper for us to do a 2 bedroom suite than for us to get two rooms at the hotel...every year we will price out the rooms and than look for the cheaper price...and every year we book through AAA because it usually saves us around $800.00 off the suite. With the suite we have much bigger rooms - one bedroom with a king bed and bath, one bedroom with 2 queens and a bath, the queen room has a sofa that makes into a double bed, the living room has a sofa that makes into a queen sleeper, also in the living room you have nice size wet bar area and off of this area is a half bath...did I say how BIG this suite is!) check out the Disney official site: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland-hotel/

These rooms are called regal suites and most of the suites are in the Frontier Tower...there are suites in the other towers...we have not stayed in them.

Now I'm not sure what you mean by PERKS...some of the suites have a downtown disney view and you get a wonderful view of the fireworks and some suites have a pool view and no fireworks view...it is truly the luck of the draw ... one year our suite had the pool view and the city of LA view...not as nice as the downtown/fireworks view.
And I'm not sure what you mean by Breakfast...you could be thinking concierge?
Years ago concierge was included with the suite...that is no more, you will pay extra for concierge.
I hope this helps a little...if you have other questions just ask
