Some great friends just gave us our stay here and just wondered if anyone has stayed there? the website looks great but not alot of info. Like is there wireless internet in the rooms? How many TV's in the rooms SUITE B.
Just would like some details before we leave on the 30th
thanks

Yes! We loved it there. We had suite A & B... B is the smaller one but it does have 2 TV's. It doesn't have a stove but has hot plates & things like that to use to cook. It does have a full size fridge, washer & dryer. Also has a small screened in deck. Yes, there was wiresless internet but we did not use it so I cannot tell you if it was free or not. I thinkt that was the best timeshare I ever stayed at. If you want, you can pm me with any other questions.

they are nice - stayed in A.

the washer and dryer are not full size - they are stackable - in the closet off the kitchen. but I really though B didn't have them?

my unit was excellent - the problem the view is of the parking lot..... I am a big view person.

no restuarant on site. there was a Wendy you could walk too - my problem - it was closed - rehab. the gym was in the check in place - which is several yards away from the villa.

to get to Disney - at the light turn left (not right) - then after you go under the bridge (I4) turn left - you are now on IDS - at the next traffic light (several miles- you are besides Gaylord on your left) you turn left again - now you are on Osecola Parkway - the AK is at the end of this road - the signs for the other parks are before you get to AK.

if you can don't agreed to their timeshares pitch at first. with me they started at $25 but in the end they were offering $500 - I didn't see that pitch will I was leaving.

We just stayed there this past May. We stayed in Unit A though, which is the bigger of the two. The room itself was gorgeous, very clean etc. We were not at the resort that much (so we didn't use pools or amenities) which is unusual for us but we went with friends this time and stayed mostly at the parks.

One thing that bothered me was the lack of parking for our building. We came back that first night and could not find a spot even remotely near our bldg. With two young children this was not going to work for us. They said that by Tuesday the lot would clear out but honestly it never did. They switched our room to a different bldg. but the parking was still a crap shoot since we stayed at the parks late almost every night.

both sides of our units (A&B) had them. I was glad too that way I got ALL of the laundry done at one time. They are are in the bathroom closet in B, unlike A, where they are in the kitchen closet. Maybe not all the bldgs have them.. not sure. I know A had a very large screen TV in it. Yet, the bldg my sister stayed in.. didn't .. I think I was in bldg 5 or 6.. can't remember, the two have the same enterance way.

I own at Vacation Village at Parkway (VVP). I stayed in and totally hated the B-side units. Along with issues with sales and management, it was my worst week that I have spent in a timeshare (at the time, my reason for purchasing VVP was to get a RCI Points resort). As noted, there is not a stove but hotplates. There were 2 TVs but no washer/dryer units. I understand that some of the newer B-side units have washer/dryers but VVP makes no claim to having them in the B-side units. In reality, if you think of the B-side unit as a nice studio you will be fine but for me, it was lacking for a 1-bedroom. I expect a usable stove in the kitchen - a hotplate doesn't cut it- and a washer/dryer would be nice. The B-side unit is about 500 sq. ft. This URL, http://www.dailymanagementresorts.com/Resort.aspx?resort=5, provides the floor plan for the 2-bedroom unit. From this, you can see the A-side and the B-side with the B-side not showing any washer/dryer arrangement. I also don't like having the bathroom in the bedroom as is done in the A-side but I understand that some people do like this arrangement.

As an aside, when I stayed there, there were 6 buildings and I stayed in building. From the periodic information that VVP sends me, I believe there are currently 12 buildings with the goal of having a total of 20 buildings. I don't know where they are going to put all the buildings as space was limited when I was there and I had, on occasion, had to park some distance from my building to find a parking place.

Thanks for all you input. We are excited about going. We have a disabled son and 14 yr daughter that is a disney nut. We hope they give us a newer B. We were given the week so we are not complaining but greatly thankful. It is better and bigger then a hotel room is how I am looking at it and the blessing of it being given. We just need a bit more room with a wheelchair and all that he requires. We leave in a week and 2 days and our oldest still doesn't know...the magic of disney:)
Anymore info would be great. Are the pools warm? Are there outdoor grills to use?
Thanks again

We stayed there this past October for two weeks. We won an A&B unit thru SkyAuction for the first week, and only a B side for the second week. They gave us access to both units for two full weeks which worked out great for us (we have three daughters -- so it would have been very tight in a B unit for the second week, but we would have managed :)). Anyway, we were in the newer section and both the A and B sides had a washer and dryer. The parking situation was a little bothersome, but we still had a great time. There were BBQ grills available for guest's use and they even lent out BBQ tools. We really enjoyed our stay there. Our daughters swam several times and we enjoyed the hot tub, but the pools were too cool for us adults. (Perhaps they weren't heated that much in October but would be heated now??) Hope you have a great trip!
