Well, my experience is a couple years old, but since you haven't had a response yet I will throw it in and hopefully you get a better one :D

We stayed with a group of 8, 6 adults and 2 children, and it worked out just fine. The kids loved the bunk beds and my wife and I enjoyed the master suite. The only minor complaint was the couple sleeping on the pull out bed, which was as comfortable as any pull out bed. Some of the benefits to having a separated building was the wifi worked well and the kids being loud did not bother anyone else. It feels very secluded, sitting on the deck at night and watching the boats go by on the river was great. The Treehouse pool is very quiet as well, a basic pool but only for use by Treehouse guests. The other SSR pools are also available if you want more than a small pool and spa.

There is a boat launch for Disney Springs that we took advantage of several times. If you are driving you can park right at your Treehouse. If you are flying after you check in at the Carriage House they will drive you over on a cart. A tip, if driving request a place near the entrance and if flying request one further back so you can walk to the bus stop rather than rely on the shuttle. We flew and stayed 1 house away from the walkway to the bus stop. The only time we took the internal shuttle was departure day since we had to go back to the Carriage House to catch DME.

Furnishings were cozy, plumbing worked and had plenty of pressure even with 2 showers going at once. The main area feels a bit small since it is arranged in a circle instead of lengthwise like most villas but when the sofa bed was put away we never felt crowded. I will say that if you are traveling with all adults or no young children you might consider elsewhere since the bunk beds might be a deal breaker. Otherwise though, I can't complain. We are going back and staying at BLT this time, but I consider the Treehouses a permanent backup if our resort of choice isn't available.

Can you move the chair that converts to a sleeper into the room with the bunk beds? Thanks for the post.

Probably not, the two bedrooms on that side are not especially roomy and I don't think anything larger than the pack and play would fit without some great Tetris skills.

DVC asks that you not rearrange any of the furniture. Trying to move it could damage the furniture, walls/doorways, or you could hurt yourself because it's large and heavy.

Yeah I know that.....

Would like 3 in the room with the bunks

The doorway to the bedrooms is too small. Plus, that sleeper chair is HEAVY. We tried to move one at AKV and couldn't budge it, even a few feet!

Thank you so much for your detailed experience. My family of four will be staying in the Treehouses in December. My dd-22 is 5'3" and I already told her she will have the bunkbed room. My ds-18 is 6'4" so will have the second bedroom. What exactly do I have to request location-wise? We are flying and I am going to plan most of our evening dinners at DTD.

Thanks so much!

If you plan on spending a lot of time at DTD (Disney Springs) and you won't have a car, I'd request a Treehouse close to the boat dock.

Request close to the boat dock and/or swimming pool. They're close to each other and to the walkway to SSR. We tend to walk directly there when using the bus rather than using the internal resort bus.

We stayed there in March with 8 plus a baby. My DH and I took the master. Our DS and DDIL and their in infant took the other bedroom. Three kids took the bunk room and put in a blow up mattress. Not sure how they did it but they found a way. Two teens on the couch pulled out and one on the sleeper chair. We managed but it was close. The layout of the living-kitchen area is tight but the weather was very nice so we spent lots of time outside on the deck. It does not feel Disney to us but we have been there so often that it was fine. Also, busses seemed to take forever. The soundproofing was great.

Yeah that's what I want to do on vacation :headache:. Only staying 2 nights before cruise. Think I will get either a grand villa or a 2 bedroom at Animal Kingdom or Baylake (3 bathrooms)
We'll be staying at Treehouses soon with our teens and friends. (We're driving and you should see the stash of road-trip snacks I have for a small herd of teens - I look like my own convenience store) Anyhow, when we need to travel with an extra bed, we bring a lightweight cot - it's narrower, lighter, and folds smaller than a blow up bed. Depending on teen using cot, we either bring a large sheet to roll up in or a fleece throw - no other bedding needed; a pillow will be used from another bed in the treehouse. Just another option to consider FWIW

Nine. Boys don't like to share beds. Blow up mattress works better. The extra bedroom with pack and play was very tight. Lots of bumped shins
But the THV are limited to nine plus one under the age of three. You had one too many.

Thank you both very much and thank you so much for takkng the time to post the map.

Ill request close to boat dock. If Im by boat dock, will I see the boats drive by in both directions? I think that would make me happy lol
