Anyone stay at the Studio Plus near Universal?

I made reservation in June at the StudioPlus hotel on Vinland Rd. I'm trying to find out if the hotel is clean andif it has a decent pool?

According to the man I talked to at the front desk, it is with walking distance (15 min) to Universal. I was wondering if that is correct?
