Anyone stay at the Beach Club?

We might stay at the beach club this vacation and need help or tips from anyone whose stayed there. PLEASE HELP!

We stayed at the Beach Club last year, and loved it. It has been renovated since our stay (it was renovated this past spring). The resort is very nice, and I'm sure you'll love it. Great Pics CaliforniaDreaming! Are all/any of the Beach Club rooms able to hold 5 people? Do they have 2 queen and a daybed? I went to DisneyWorld.com and was able to get a room for 5 (put in 3 kids). Just don't know if they are special rooms.

We stayed at BCV last December, it was great! The convenience of the Epcot resorts can't be beat. It's great being 10 minutes from Epcot and a short boat trip or walk from MGM Studios, not to mention the Boardwalk area. We brought my wife's family (16 of us total) and had 8 kids 6 and under, everyone had a blast. The pool is very fun but is so large it's sometimes tough to keep track of everyone (we lost my nephew for about 5 minutes, not fun when next to a pool). Beaches & Cream has great ice cream treats, and the kids loved the arcade. I can't speak much about the other restaurants since we ate most of our meals in our rooms. I think you'll have a great time!

Make sure your room is not near the service elevator. Unless you like to be kept awake all night. Get a room near the main elevator. I love to walk but being at the end of the hallway was too much.

Some rooms sleep 5, but others don't have the daybed. We requested 2 queens & a daybed, and that's what we got. If you need the daybed, request it. If there are 5 of you, though, they'll make sure you have it.

We stayed in the BCV last trip and really enjoyed it. It was great only being a few minutes walk to Epcot and MGM. The resort was beautiful and stormalong bay is amazing. We also loved Beaches and Cream. If there are 5 of you on the trip and you want to stay in the beach club you might want to think about renting DVC points to stay in the villas. Having the extra room was really good, plus the use of a kitchen and laundry facilities in your room was really useful. Plus when you stay in the villas you get to use all the facilities at the yacht and beach clubs.
