We stayed in Sugar Loaf on our last trip. We had never done concierge before, and I can tell you I was impressed with the offerings. Breakfast was plenty for our entire family--cold cereals, pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, etc. It was a great way to start the day. We are staying at SOG next time...we'll miss the food!!!!
We weren't ever there midday, so I can't attest to that. But in the evenings, they had hors d'oeuvres for different themes (one night was mexican, one night asian, etc) and they were hot. There were always large trays of fruit and veggies, dip, crackers, etc.
The always had a great kids' area, one night was mini hot dogs and fries, another night was PB&J sandwiches. Our kids were 2 and 4 then, and we were able to feed them dinner off of that concierge--add some fresh fruit to their offerings and a glass of milk and they were good to go.
I know people say, don't expect there to be enough to feed you an entire meal...definitely not for the grownups...but for the kids, it was great!
There were always desserts, too, so the kids could grab a cookie or brownie, etc. No liquor, though, you have to go to the main bldg for that (which we did!) Have a great trip!
