Just wondering if anyone has sold their gold or silver lately? If so what are they paying? Haven't seen any post for a very long time about it.Also, has anyone took out the stones, diamonds, etc and ever sold them?

I'd like to know too. I have a few things I'm struggling to decide what to do with.

My wedding set (Scott Kay platinum with diamonds) including the diamond (the diamond is small so I think I'd like to keep in for my dd and have a necklace made when she's older).

Some gold rings including a two color puzzle ring (It doesn't fit but it's pretty cool so again I'm not sure I want to part with it).

I'm leaning toward taking the wedding set to Finks and a few other jewelers and taking the best offer. I don't expect much.

Not sure what to do with the gold--it's not that much.

I need some landscaping done--my yard is a mess and I can mow but anything else I need to hire out so I think I could use whatever I got to start getting the yard in shape.

I broke a 32" rope chain, got it caught on something at work. I took it to a jewelry store that buys gold, he gave me $100 in trade, the new one was $169.

About 5 years ago, I took some of my late mother's gold chains & rings to the same store, I got $700 a couple of times. I was amazed.

I sent another batch into US Gold Buyers a couple of months ago. Still an easy process, same as always. Got about $300 for a small bag of broken earrings, etc.
