I just wanted to find out if anyone has had any experiences shopping at the Relive the Magic website for Disney products. I ordered something from them about three weeks ago and have not only not received the item, but have not received any answers to my numerous email inqueries. There is no telephone number listed anywhere on their site. I can't remember where I found the link to them, but it had to have been from either one of the Disney sites or from the DISboard since these are the only sites I go to for Disney stuff and info.

Any information would be helpful.

Hi JDFan, I recently ordered something from them and it took about 3 weeks for me to get the item I purchased. I e-mailed them and they responded within a few days. I was a little frustrated with them, but I did finally receive my item. Just keep e-mailing them and hope for the best

Never heard of them but will check it out. Good luck! I have had good luck on Ebay...there are alot of stores there that sell WDW merchandise!

Thank you for your input. I finally heard back from them and they said my item will ship on Tuesday ... three weeks after I ordered it. They said this was "uncharacteristically late" for them. But, when I checked them out on the BBB website, there has been three other complaints over the past year for the same thing ... delayed shipping and slow or no responses to complaints and querries.

Plus, when I called the official Disney shopping site, they said they had nothing to do with official Disney and she was shocked that I paid $39 for a DVD I could get at WDW for $20. Oh well, I guess I was had ... live and learn.

But, just 77 more "Days to Disney!" That'll keep me smiling.

I ordered the DVD set from Relive the Magic. It took several weeks to receive. I'm not really happy with the DVD either. Not professionally done enough to sell. IMHO.

That's disappointing to hear. I am glad I didn't order the entire set ... I was very close to doing so. I guess when I go to WDW in May, I will pick up the real DVD set directly from Disney.

Did what you get look to be bootleg copies?

I am currently having the same issue. It has been 14 days and they said they haven't shipped my items yet- and this is "uncharacteristically" whatever for them.
I ordered the tour of the parks and tour of the resorts- not the big set of tours of the rides. i want to give my toddler a preview, so that perhaps it will offer some small sense of familiarity- even if it is a bootleg

I also got a $29 off cupon that I applied towards a Disney PDA. I ordered that 5 days after the original order.

[ I also ordered on Feb 9th 2009 from Relivethemagic.com and still haven't received my order April 7th, 2009, it's now been 2 months and they only reply with "uncharacteristic" delay. They had No delay in charging my credit card 2 days after order !! I doubt I'll see those DVD's I ordered my family for a March vacation that we've already been on.!!!!!!!! Any advice from anyone???

I should have done more research!
I purchased over a month ago. Finally they arrived, after sending an e mail when they did not arrive after 3 weeks, They could not locate my order for about a week. They finally did and said my order would be sent within a week. More than a week, but the order finally arrived.

I was shocked to find out it the footage was from 2005 December at that. I even thought I would see myself and my family on the footage, We were there then. It is old footage showed things that are long past closed.

I will still use it to help families with their trips, However I should just use my own footage that is more current. I just did not want to take the time to edit and such.

But if you are looking for some old ride footage and the backs of heads and or Butts, black screens and all; VERY SLOW SHIPPING, Feel free to purchase. But if you want real stuff, Disney has DVD's avail at the parks, maybe a little more$$ but worth it I think. You can even purchase it online from Disney.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I'm having the same problem with Mouse Surplus.

I have never had an issue with Mouse Surplus. However a different exp. when visiting the location in FL in Feb. I do not plan on going back for a visit, but have never had issue when ordering online.
