Anyone ship a box back home from resort??

Since I am shipping a box down for my sons birthday I was wondering if anyone has then shipped the box back home? I would like to ship back home from the resort his present and all our extra we buy instead of dragging it on the plane.

We have done this in the past from All Stars Music. We gave them the address and they printed out the shipping label. I think there was a 5.00 surcharge but it was worth it. The whole total was around 20.00 for a large heavy box.

Yeah, we shipped four boxes back in Dec. 2006 - bought a lot of Christmas gifts, had to buy sweatshirts and a blanket for the stroller in AK as it was freezing and Great Aunt gave DD4 a very big Scooby Doo that we were not about to carry on the plane. Cost us about $100..... Easy to do a the hotel, the gift shop gave us the boxes and we got the labels from the concierge but we used our own shipping account number (DH has his own business). You could just charge a credit card too.

Everytime I am DW I mail stuff home. To many think can get broken. Last time I did from the hotel, they were very nice. packaged everything up really well. Only one hting was broken when I got it few weeks later. All I had to do was call the number they had listed in the package. They were great. The pap said you have to mail back the broken itiem, but becasue it was a small itiem, they did ask me too. I did have to fax in a copy of my receipt though.

If I am not staying on property, I have them mail my stuff right from the store I am at.

Makes life much easier then trying to pack it all at the end of our vacation.

We never use all of the luggage we are permitted on the flight, so we just pack up the box and put our address on it and send it with the checked luggage. You just have to keep the box under 50 pounds. We also used this method to get our stroller back -- we packed it in the box and sent it as luggage. The stroller arrived in perfect condition without the strains and damage that has occurred when we gate check our strollers. Have fun!
