Hi all, :wave2:

Does anyone sell Origami Owl? I have thought about attempting to sell this in my area. Not as a full time job or anything, not really even a part-time deal. Just a little extra spending cash here and there. I know you have to sell a least 99 a month, so 100 a month could help out any college student like myself! I'm really just wondering what experience anyone has with this company and what kind of income it generates. Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

This was my 100th post! I'm now a Mouseketeer! YAYY!

Hi there! I don't sell Origami Owl but I am in direct sales. The only thing that concerns me about Origami Owl is that it looks like you have to have inventory on hand so people can put together their lockets at the party itself? That's one of the biggest things I *didn't* want from direct sales, I think it's difficult to be constantly buying and keeping the new stuff on hand without losing a fortune.

Other than that, it looks like a fun and growing company and the parties look great! I'm going to my first one this weekend!

This did bother me as well, I know you have a discount, but still looks expensive. I know a few people who sell it, and they don't keep a huge amount of inventory, just enough for people to "play" with at parties! I have read that you will get most of your business by just wearing your locket around! I guess I will have to talk with them a little more and find out.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the party this weekend! If you get a chance of course!

Sure! My friend that is having it said she had a lot of fun at the one she attended so it sounds like it will be a blast :)

Hi! I just started selling, so I can't really speak for how my sales are. What I can tell you is that you are required to sell $199 (wholesale) every six months. It also appears that you have to pay an additional $99 a year, but I may be reading that wrong. The discount is 50% on Charms, Plates, Dangles and 30% on all other jewelry (Lockets, Chains, Tags, etc.)

My mother-in-law recently started selling for South Hill Designs, and she's *loved* it. I don't think there's a minimum per month you have to sell. I know that the hostess rewards are pretty great, as I'm planning on hosting a party at my house.

Just so you can get an idea of the products, here's my MIL's page that links to all of the info for buying/hosting/selling: southhilldesigns dot com/rhondawarner

I will have to ask my friend who sells it about the extra $99 a year.
I hope you are enjoying it, and wishing you good luck in sales!
Thanks!

I have never heard of that brand! I will have to look into it, thank you!

A girl I know from high school sells it. She is doing amazing with it. People ask her about her necklaces everywhere she goes, and she gets a ton of business just from that. Her schedule is always very full. I have hosted two parties for her, one in November 2012, just a catalog party, and the total was $1000, then I had a home party that she brought stock too in January, and the total was $1500. So, if you can get people to look at the lockets, they sell themselves from what I have seen.
