Hi All!

The last two times I went to WDW the Electrical Water Pagaent was only about half the size I had been used to. Many of the floats were missing. Has anyone seen it lately? I am staying at BW, but I'll take a trip over to one of the Lagoon resorts if the whole pagaent is back. My daughter loves it, but it's not worth the trip if it's not there in all it's full glory.

I can't answer your question, but I know that some of the floats were damaged in last years hurricanes.

One whole string of barges was destroyed during the hurricanes--just a few weeks after coming out of rehab. That's the way it goes I guess. The entire show is back with a new sound system, brighter lights, more power to handle the 2 strings on windy evenings. The nightly "tour" begins at 9pm at the poly unless wishes is at 9, then it begins just after the fireworks.

We staying off site but are eating one night at Whispering Canyon and have been told we may be able to see it. Where should we go to see it and what time should we be there

Glad to hear its back in full
We saw it again this past Oct and noticed it was missing the last barge

Just go out the back of Wilderness Lodge towards the water - can see from the boatdock and the beach - about 930pm? 935?

One of the highlights of our December trip was following EWP to FTW from the MK. It was a LONG boat ride, but it was lots of fun following the parade. EWP brings back lots of memories from childhood. In December ALL barges were operating!

I had never seen it before so I don't know what it looked like before but we saw it a week ago (4/11) and it had maybe 10 floats? I don't know how you actually count them... like is the lochness monster considered just one barge? It was pretty, but it is short. We saw it while on a cruise in the bay, but you can see it from the beach at Poly, the marina at GF and the marina (?) at Contemporary, as well as at the entrance of MK. We actually saw a good portion of it one night while waiting for a bus at MK. The music is reminiscent of the Elec. Light Parade... oh how I miss that!

Excellent news!! I was aware of the hurricane damage, but didn't know if it was fixed. I'm so glad to hear this, definitely going to go check it out next week. Thanks!!

We saw it a week ago. It had about 10-12 boats in one string.

It's actually 2 strings with 7 barges each. They total just under 1000'.
