Anyone seen a Raven-Symoné concert?

We were quite surprised to hear that Raven-Symoné will be giving a concert in a town about an hour away from us - my 7 and 6 year old DD would really like to go.

Now to my question - has anyone seen her in concert and would it be appropriate for my girls.

Does she do Cheetah girl stuff or her own?

she just a couple of weeks ago did a concert at one of our local fairs-you could go to the vallejo times herald (vallejo california) newspaper website and see the review (on the home page use the search function with the name 'raven'). there's a very positive review that gives a great deal of detail on what the performance contained. apparantly she was very well received (unlike ashley simpson who performed at another local fair a month or so earlier ).

I would take my 6 yo DD in an instant if she were appearing anywhere near us. No such luck, though.

We just found out she was going to be in Mitchell by accident - but I think this is her "offical" site.

Anyway.. she played at pay concert at Six Flags a while back. Not many stars do pay concerts at Six Flags--they usually aren't diva-ish enough to ask for more money.

Raven was though!

I took my DD 11 and 4 of her friends to the one at Wild Adventures Park and I can deffinately say it was a very kid friendly concert and the girls loved the show. They are begging to go again if she comes back. Go for it take them they will love it.

Well - I bought the tickets today - 20 bucks a piece - when I told the girls there was screaming and jumping up and down and looks of joy on their faces - you would have thought I told them we were headed to WDW

My DD9 and I saw her at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ . The concert was great . She did alot of songs and then they brought some kids up to ask her questions. She told us that That's so Raven isn't taping anymore, but that her brother on the show (Corey) will have his own show. She didn't say if she would ever come on his show. Someone asked her about a That's so Raven movie and she said it was a possibility. Have fun if you go.

in Lewisburg? If so I am taking my DD and was wondering what I-64 is like.

There are a few concerts that are pay there this season. Raven was one.

We saw Raven last summer at a free concert on the 4th of July. It was pretty short, but then it was free! DD's LOVED it and I was impressed. There were tech issues and she sang without music on one of her songs and it was really good - no lip synching going on! She was really good with the audience as well and answered lots of questions. I'm sure your DD's will love her! Oh - no Cheetah Girls songs at our concert.

No, the Maryland State Fair. I am from there, and think of this area and Maryland as being the same area really.
