Anyone see this video on youtube?

I agree it was very rude but I'm wondering if she was with the ECV that was in front of her and she was afraid of getting separated in the crowds. Atleast it didn't appear she actually running into people.

:confused3:confused3:confused3

How horrible!!! Obviously this lady thinks the world revolves around her!

That is a valid point, but if that was the case she didn't need to lay on the horn the way she did.

Every time we are at Disney something like this happens. I completely understand the need for someone to have an ECV but there is no need for the rudeness that some feel entitled too. I have gotten to the point where I am not nice on purpose when that happens!

I see rude people on foot doing the same sort of thing. Even if you say "excuse me" politely, it's rude to expect others to move out of your way when it's crowded and everyone is obviously trying to go in the same direction.

The horn adds an especially nice touch, though. :sad2:

If someone is in a rush AND has the sense to ask forgiveness and to be excused, I'm all for standing aside and let them pass. Maybe they have a sick child to get to or a coveted ADR--or maybe they need to get out of the crowd before they blow a fuse. But I swear if someone (even a sweet little old lady) BEEPED+BEEPED+BEEPED me, I'd be tempted to stop dead in my tracks and give her the evil eye <:rotfl2:

Maybe, just maybe, she was trying to make sure that she didn't get run over??

While I haven't travelled with an ECV in the dark at WDW, I have travelled with a stroller. It is scary how many people appear not to see the stroller and step right over it or on it. My scariest moment at WDW was during the Electric Light Parade when I was stuck on a ramp in near darkness, pushing a double stroller. I literally couldn't move. That in itself wouldn't be a big deal but people kept slinging their backpacks into my kids, stepping on the stroller, etc... Finally a couple helped me get to the top of the ramp.

I am really hoping that perhaps this lady just was trying to make sure that she was seen. She didn't seem too happy, but she also didn't seem to be trying to run anyone over. Also, maybe she was trying to make sure that the person in front of her knew that she was still there.

The horn was annoying, but no more annoying that the noisy toys I see children with, mine included. I am willing to cut her a little slack.:goodvibes

Wishing her and all of us a little pixie dust!:wizard:

I'm pretty sure I heard her say that breaks were not working. Maybe watch it again and see if you hear that, maybe I was hearing things.

I didn't hear anything about the brakes, but man, how rude! It's obvious there's a huge crowd aroudn her, no kids needing to get to the bathroom and she appeared to be alone as well. Holy cow!! I loved how the people recording kept giggling. LOL

Nevermind, i just watched it again it was one of the people walking that said I can't stop or something like that.
