Anyone see "the Producers" in Toronto?

I'm thinking of going to see it but I've heard mixed reviews. We LOVED Mamma Mia but wanted to try something else. Any reviews? TIA!

My DB and DSIL went to see The Producers just recently and loved it! They actually said they liked it BETTER than Mama Mia which they saw last year and raved about.

I loved it - very funny.

If they're still offering the $36 seats I would suggest going for those if you're unsure. (I was and that's why I didn't pay $90) Anyway, I couldn't believe how good the seats were. We were about half way up the front Mez. just to the right. The people beside us paid at least twice the amount we did!!

Yes I saw it (we are a musical loving family). Very, very funny for adults, but not for kids. It's a Mel Brooks show, so, if you liked Blazing saddles, young franenstein etc, you will love this show.

I hate to ruin the party but I saw The Producers and wasn't too impressed by it. The sets, costumes and choreography were great but I didn't find the music too catchy and couldn't get into it very much.

I loved Mama Mia but maybe that's because I loved the music so much!

Just thought I would pass on my opinion!

We are going good friday. I used the "Spring" promotion and got front row tickets for $65.00. My mom and dad went last weekend and they said they preferred Mama Mia. I'll let you know what I think when I return.
