I know that most theaters around here had a 12:01am showing of the movie. I was just wondering if anyone has seen it yet and what you thought.

I am a huge HP fan and can't wait to see it!!!

Anyone going today?

Post your review here.

Thanks!:wave2:

I'm going as soon as I get off work today. There was a really good review on CNN.com. They rate it as the best of the three movies so far.

it came out in the UK on monday.......most of my family have seen it already and loved it

I have tickets for the 10PM showing tonight...I couldnt' wait any longer. The 3rd book is probably my favorite (next to #1) and I'm so glad that it has received great reviews.

If I can find a sitter for my two youngest....nobody is answering their phones!!!!! If I didn't know better, I'd think they were avoiding me.

Lori P. :)

I was going to wait a couple of weeks and see it while we are on vacation, but I caved and bought tickets for today. :)

We're going to the first showing tomorrow morning, I can't wait!!!

DH is home today and we are thinking of seeing an early showing. We have our DS, he is 14mo but, he loves the movies. He sits there quietly and just stares!LOL Anyway, are we horrible parents for not waiting to see it with DD(6yo)??!!
Well, we can always see it twice.;)

Glad to hear that it has been getting good reviews. We love Gary Oldmam, can't wait to see him in this movie!!!

I'm going tomorrow hopefully! Can't believe it's finally out; June 4 seemed like such a lot way aways back in the fall! I've heard too that the UK reviews were great!

I saw it last night. This was my first HP experience and I loved it. I can see how people get stuck on it.

I've got tickets for the 7:30 showing tomorrow. I bought them the day they went on sale!

Me, my mom, and my siblings are HUGE Harry Potter fans however my mother refuses to go the first weekend it is out....:o

We're going today at 1:45. There is absolutely nothing like seeing a great movie with a theater full of other fanatics! I can't wait.

We're going tonight at 7:35 and there is about 11 of us going!

? for those that have seen it.....

Do we need to stay through the entire credits????

Good question! Also my theater told me to be there 1 hour early!

Did they go right into it or how many previews did they show?

I can't wait to see it, however, we'll probably go and see Shrek 2 first!

Our theater had...let's see if I can remember the trailers prior to the movie....

Moviefone commercial....Cinderella Story.....Sleep Over....Polar Express....Cat Woman....Around the World in 80 Days.....I think that may have been it.

As for staying through the credits.....no, it's not really necessary like it was in Chamber of Secrets....if anyone wants to know what "happens", just PM me and I'll tell you. It's really not a big deal, and it actually "happens" at the beginning of the credits too, but I don't want anyone to be extra touchy about spoilers.

And yes, I'd get there super early. As I said in my other post, our theater sold out straight shows (and expected more sell outs). I know, I know...."but we already have our tickets!" Right, you do, but you also need seats. And people will, undoubtedly, be lined up and reserve, I would guess, groups of seats, especially people going with lots of kids.

Whew, glad we got our tix 4 days ago!!! :) We're planning on being there an hour and a half ahead of time.

Thanks Fantasmic 303. I've been wondering about the credit thing!
