Anyone ride CoP lately?

I'm going down in less than 2 weeks, and would LOVE to ride the Carousel of Progress, but the last time I went, the 1st week of May, it was closed. Anyone been on lately, and what are the chances f it being open the last week of April?

I went on it March 7, but I don't know for certain that it'll be open late April. I hope so b/c I'm looking forward to doing it again Apr 30 (our MK day).

went on it in october (dont know if that helps) but i did hear that it was taken off the seasonal operation list and now has regular operating hours

Hmm..if its regular hours, I wish they'd atleast include it in the map!

I have 24 days to convince my DW and DSIL, DMIL to go on it... Nobody wants to because they think it is lame. I was on it when I was a kid and for all I know it is outdated, but I still want to go on it. Glad to hear it is operational still

They say it's open seasonally, but I have gone during off-peak times and it's been open, so I think you'll be fine

I wish theyd keep it open. I dont think there are any guarentees at all of when its open, youre just lucky if it is.

when we were there 4/1 - 4/7 and we got to ride it.

When we were there in 2004 my then 8yo son fell in love with that ride and it is a MUST do for us now.

the wife and I rode it on Saturday 4/8 (sort of) it started up 4 times but then broke down and they had to get the guest to exit the ride.

I hope they keep this open on a more regular basis, it is one of our favorites.

P.S. I do wish they would get better CMs for the ride, the ones we had were pretty bad. I am a Seasonal CM and couldn't believe how they acted.

No! I hope they NEVER close that ride. It's such a classic ride and it has so much history.

I thought it was pretty tame and DH and the kids slept through it, but I definitely liked it. I wish they would add to it. It had 1905, 1925, 1945 and 2005. Would like to see the 60's, 70's, or 80's, too.
