I am thinking of renting from BBF for my trip in Sept. My ds will be 1. The stroller looks like my graco. Anyone rent from them?

why not rent from disney, you can rent for the entire week, get a discount, and dont have to worry about loosing it, because you can always pick up another one at the gate.

When you rent from Disney, I thought you have to get a new stroller each time at the parks??? Do you get to keep the stroller for the entire week, with you and take it back to hotel, etc.

Do the Disney strollers have any padding and do they have a compartment underneath where you could put a diaper bag or backpack?

No, you get a new one at each park and turn it in as you leave. There is not anyroom underneath the stroller. The one at AK I think has some pockets on teh back to put items in, but other than that it just something for the kids to sit in. No padding.

We are renting from abbf.com, a sit/stand stroller for the DS's. Arriving for one week stay at POP on Thursday (2/8). Will let you know how the rental was on our return. I have only read good things about rentals from them.

That would be excellent if you could let me know what you think. Have a wonderful trip!!:goodvibes

I don´t remember the name of the model, we rented it for our dd who was almost 3 and it was definetly worth it.
It was huge, but comfortable for her, had a child tray, parents tray, huge basket, all the works.
If you only have one child and both dh and you are going, I wouldn´t hesitate to rent again from them.
It was much much better than the impossible to push Combi we had bought 3 months before, which is what made us rent in the first place.

Well be renting from them in May. We're renting te double jogger. It'll be a pain on the busses, but we're only going to and from the parks once each day, and it's work it to me to deal with the hassle if it means having a stroller the whole week that is comfortable for the girls. We're really hoping that our 2.5year old will nap in it! I've also read nothing but good reviews about them. The cost is about the same as renting at the parks, but the strollers are more comfy and can be brought with you to the hotels -- so why not?!?

We have rented from abbf twice since my daughter (5) has been with us and they have been OUTSTANDING. Very nice clean strollers, they were there waiting on us when we got there and had not problems with them picking it up from Disney when we left. Well worth it for us, especially since we wanted it for times outside the park.

I plan to use a very lightweight stroller for the airport etc but I want ds to have a comfortable stroller that lays flat for the parks. The model looks like my gracco quattro, I emailed bbf to ask them what they have. Anyone rent the crib from them?

we rented a double side by side a couple of yrs ago it was GREAT!!! We will def. rent from them again - in my opinion it was much better than the strollers at the parks, we had canopy, good underneath storage and the seats were comfortable enought for the girls that they napped in it and bothe seats reclined- we used it at all the parks, Downtown Disney and Sea World I think it was around $75 for 8 days maybe!!??

Wow, that is a great price for a double! How old are your girls?? What is the website?

I just looked at their website and it says the double stroller is about 23 lbs (side by side). It looked like it would be a pain in the butt to get on and off the buses. What do you think?

I posted this question once and got mixed replies. I think, in part, it depends on your park patterns and when you'll be going.

In our case, we'll be going in May, which isn't a super-busy time. And we'll only be going to the park once a day (early) and returning to our resort once a day (usually early afternoon). . . Additionally, we'll be walking to MGM and Epcot, so we'll only take the stroller on busses three days (two MK days, one Animal Kingdom day). So, I think whatever pain the stroller is will be be outweighed by the comfort it provides when we really want it -- as we're really hoping our little one will sleep the two or three days that we're hoping to stay longer at the parks. I figure, we'll have the stroller collapsed and ready to go before we get on the bus, and DH will deal with the stroller. I'll have a backpack and the kids. We don't plan on staying late nights, so they shouldn't be sleeping . . . . It doesn't sound all that bad.

I guess if you were planning on staying late each night and leaving after the shows along with the crowds, it could be really tough. The kids will be exhausted, the busses crowded . . . YOU exhausted!

Mabey you could look at one in a store around your house and fold it up etc to see the weight. You can email abbf and they will tell you the model they have, I have the single Quattro and it is not heavy, just awkward to get in the trunk of my car, I like it othervise, I don't know if that helps you at all?

The thing is my kids haven't used a stroller for a while now so I'm thinking maybe I'll just get a small umbrella one for my almost 5 year old. My older son will be almost 6 when we go so who knows if he'll even need the stroller. But I have a feeling that if we have one for my youngest, they will probably fight over it!

I had great service from abbf both times I used them. The first time I rented a single stroller for my 11 month old and brought my own double for 3 &4 year olds. I also rented a crib on that trip and it was very nice and clean. The next time I rented a toddler bed from them I too was nice and clean and my DH loved that he didn't have to assemble it.

Thanks for the input on the crib, I think that I am just going to go ahead and rent the crib and the stroller so I know that I will have what I want. I am spending enough on this vacation, I don't want to ruin it with a crappy stroller or not having a good crib for ds to sleep in.

Thats my philosophy too. We're renting the single stroller and crib for DD2 (at time of travel) in May 07. I think its so important for everyone to get a good nights rest - it makes such a difference. I did flirt w/getting a toddler bed since she'll be 2 but she sleeps in a crib at home and I thought she'd get up and roam around at night.

Also - the strollers at the park do not recline! Thats big for us. I will rent a double as well for the older two just in case.

Have a great time!
