I wanted to be as specific as possible in the thread title...So many just say "AP question".
Anyway...we used the payment plan last year for our APs, and they expire at the end of April. We do plan on renewing them, and using the payment plan again. Last year we upgraded from the military special ticket, so I was just wondering if we need a "down payment" when we renew.

I have renewed my wife's pass using the payment plan and we did not need to make a down payment.

Thats correct, you don't need to make a down payment for a renewal. But to renew with the payment plan you have to mail in your renewal. Just go to the Disneyland AP site and go to the renewal section and make sure you select payment plan. Fill in your information, then print it out and mail in. Just so you know it can take any where from 2-3 weeks to receive your new AP. We live in OC, for mine and my DLGF it took a week (this was right before Christmas), but for her mother who lives in OC as well. It took 2 1/2 weeks.
