I had all of them, I wish I still did!!
I am thinking of trying to find the complete series and putting them away for DD. Do you think I'm crazy?

Oh I'm pretty sure I read those. LOL I don't think your being silly. My little sister has been getting into my old books recently and passing them around to her friends. They think its hysterical that I have some of the Sweet Valley High books that start with #1. When I had went off to college my mom and I packed up all my books and they were just sitting in the upstairs closet at her house. Now that my sister is finally moving upstairs they are discovering all these treasures.

I think it would be wonderful to pass along a series that you loved. I am doing the same, I actually have all of the Little House, Louisa May Alcott, and Anne of Green Gables series from my childhood. DD is starting to read the Little House set.

Hope you can get them and enjoy the memories!

Not crazy. My parents still have my complete set of Babysitter Club and Christopher Pike books. Am only missing the Christopher Pike novel (I should really look for that on amazon...)

I still have my and my mother's Nancy Drew books!

I went through mom's attic last year and found a bunch of my Judy Blume books, and Black Beauty, etc. I wish I still had the Pratt Sisters series (the ones above) cute books about twin sisters who switch places and get into all kinds of mischief.
DS11 loves to read and now the other 2 are following suit. We tend to all read at night. I am so glad my kids are readers.
When we sold the big house the bonus room had floor to ceiling bookcases on one wall, about 24 feet of wall space. We had pulled the bookcases down to paint, they had no backs, and the people that bought the house didn't want us to put them back up. The 2 DDs (teens) and the mom asked why anyone would want that many books. I couldn't believe that!

DH learned his most valuable lesson in 1st grade from his teacher. Reading is the single most important thing you need to learn, because everything else you want to learn about is in a book.
She was sooo right too!

Me too! I also have quite a few old Bobbsey Twins books, some Honey Bunch books, the Anne of Green Gables series and lots of other misc kids books. I gave my daughters' Babysitters Club books to a former friend who was supposed to pass them back when they were done. She forgot and sold them at a yard sale. I wish I still had my Black Stallion books as I had the old series as a kid.
