I was watching a rerun of 'Coach' today and I laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face! It was the episode where Duaber moves in with Luther and they were trying to hide from the pizza delivery person in order to get a free pizza. OMG, Jerry Van **** was hysterical! :rotfl2: I used to love this show and I miss it. I also miss Newhart, Designing Women, Seinfeld, and of course, Cheers. What are some of your favorite comedy shows that are no longer on?

What about the episode where Coach and Luther manage to spill grape juice on Christine's white carpeting? That's one of my favorites. Coach hasn't been in syndication for a while here. I wish it was.

I love "Coach." Remember when they went to the Peabody Hotel, and I can't remember who, maybe Coach or maybe Luther ended up parading out with the ducks. That show made me LOL a lot. Can't even think of any new shows that have been funny like that one!
One of the reasons I watch "Spongebob" is that Patrick is Bill Fagerbakke.

Yep, LOVE it! It is on early in the morning here...somewhere on cable can't remember the channel....such a great show!

I miss great shows...they just don't have them anymore!

The guy that played Luther lives in the same small Arkansas town as my sister. she sees him out and about all the time.

Christine on coach I think had a liver transplant, I wonder how she is doing. I never watched MASH when I grew up, so after 1983 when the show ended, I started watching the reruns. It was fun to see the show move so fast and I watched it every nite. I wonder now if there are MASH reruns on.

I remember Coach, and I even remember who played the title character: Craig T. Nelson. I think he is in the new Chritmas movie with Sarah Jessica Parker.

I liked the Cosby Show, Fat Albert, Full House, Home Improovement, and Hey Dude (wich was a Nick show that co-starred future star Christine Taylor, who is now the wife of Ben Stiller :flower: ) I really wish that they would put Hey Dude on DVD.

I loved that show. I remember the show where Luther tells Hayden that he is getting an IRS refund for $40K. Hayden looks at him and asks him, "How can you get back $40K from the IRS when you don't make $40K?" :teeth:

It's on USA in the morning. Its one of those shows thats always funny no matter how many times you have seen it!

I loved that show; also "Night Court" and "Dharma and Greg", both of which I can fortunately see in reruns. I still don't know why "Dharma and Greg" ended.

I watch that show every day. I think I could recite most of the lines I have seen them so many times. I loved that show!!!!

Dh and I watched it faithfully. Hayden Fox was loosely based on Hayden Fry, who coached at The University of Iowa and they used film from the campus.

I loved Coach, The Cosby Show, Night Court, Alf, and so many more that I can't think of their names at the moment. I have a new appreciation for M.A.S.H. it was funny when I was younger and watching it at my grandparents house but I have grown up enough now to get the adult jokes.

DH and I LOVED that show!
Funny you mentioned this, I watched a re-run just a week ago.

I still remember when Luther told Coach that when he dies he wants him to "be the EXECUTIONER of his will", and "not to keep him alive on a PERSPERATOR", lol :rotfl:

Just a few hours ago I mentioned to hubby that I watched this show early today and how funny it was. Remember when Stuart locked Hayden outside in the freezing cold when he was in the hottub? Too funny! I really miss Newhart too. Larry, Darryl and Darryl just cracked me up.

I loved that show, too. One of my favorite episodes was the one where Luther and Dauber accidentally set Christine's wedding dress on fire, put out the fire by throwing a pitcher of juice on the dress and then the two of them plus Hayden try to repair the holes in the dress with spackle.

Coach was a great show. I have always loved Taxi too. That was a great era for sitcoms.
