Anyone remember the hour long drama called "Family"?

I used to watch "Family" It was one of my favourite shows. Kristy McNichol has an older brother (James) who used to do some acting too. They used to be in Tiger Beat magazine quite often.

For some reason I keep thinking that the fathers name was James Broderick.

I always thought it was such a serious, dramatic and emotional show. Now, I can't think why I enjoyed it so much.

I remember watching that show all the time! Remember when Buddy was dating Leif Garret (Zach)?

And hey, what's wrong with the Walton's?? I still watch that show and Little House on the Praire when I can find them. I ended up marrying John-boy! (No, not Richard Thomas!) There was this guy where we worked who would always whistle The Walton's theme song when we walked by

YES!! I remember this show. In fact hubby and I were talking about it just last week when Music Man was being advertised. The father was played by James Broderick, Matthew's Dad. He has since passed away and I read somewhere that Matthew Broderick and his wife Sarah Jessica Parker named their new baby boy James after his father. I liked "Family", thought it was a good show.

and to indirectly tie this to Disney....one season had Willy having a love affair with a character played by Season Hubley, who was once married to Kurt Russell, who was a child star in Disney flicks.
