anyone remember if you have to show AP at check-in?

DOes anyone remember if you have to show your AP at check-in time to get the AP rates? I just went in Dec. and cant remember if I had to show them, or they had my # already when I made my ressie. Thanks in advance.

YES I had to show my AP pass at the AKL and Music.

You are supposed to show it at check-in. More often than not, they don't ask to see it.

This past December I had to show mine at the POP and at the POFQ.

In January we did not have to show it for the 2 rooms we booked a(and I paid for) for our children/friends who came with us. (We stayed at SOG).

Yes, they always ask to see one AP at check-in.

They asked to see either my DH or my AP when we checked into AKL in Jan '05.

Our last trip my friend booked three rooms for two nights at POR (before moving to OKW) for herself, her parents and my family. She booked with her AP. We all drove but my family got there last and late (10 pm). They did not ask to see the AP. My friend eventually met us anyway at the lobby just in case but we did not need it.

Didn't need ours either. In fact we arrived later then we had planned, so we didn't purchase our APs till the next day.

This last trip, Jan 20-31 we were asked for our AP's at all three resorts. We were also asked in Oct. I talked to the person checking us in at the WL this trip and she said that they are required to do it now and if they don't could get in trouble. It looks like more of us are having to show our APs.

I did a split stay at WL and AKL in January this year. As I was checking in at the WL, I told her my AP had not been activated yet, but I had the voucher and the receipt where I bought it and started to reach in my bag. The CM said she didn't need it (but again I was reaching for it, so obviously had it). A few days later when I was checking into the AKL, I was asked for it.
