Anyone rejected for Fastpass option in late afternoon?

I've searched here, and it sounds like people have been able to redeem the GAD voucher for fastpasses with no problem late in the afternoon. Has there been any report of anyone being turned down? I figure if it has occurred, it would be noted here on the DISboards!

I understand that somewhere in the documentation (but not on my voucher that I can find), there is a clause that the fastpass option may not be available after 11:00 am. We'd like to spend the morning of July 3 at MK and then go to DHS late in the after just to use our GAD voucher for fastpasses. I'd hate to get there and find that we couldn't use it then! We could go to DHS in the morning before MK just to get the GAD fastpasses, but I'd really rather sleep the extra 30 minutes than spending it at DHS to do this if we can just pick them up in the afternoon!

That said, July 3rd and 4th are likely to be some of the busiest days so far, so there are no guarantees, but your odds are still good.

Your comment got me wondering if we could use the GAD voucher for fastpasses on July 4th even though it's listed as a program blockout day, so I researched that since we're spending the full day at DHS on the 4th and really wanted to just use the fastpasses that day, but thought we couldn't. It looks like we can do so from other posts here! So, thanks for the information. We'll just stay at MK on the 3rd and use the GAD fastpasses at DHS on the 4th!

You can definitely redeem for the FPs...you just can't get the free admission on a blockout day.

Thanks so much for the confirmation! We do already have multi-day non-expiring tickets to use, but just assumed that we couldn't redeem for fastpasses on the blockout day.

We've been to Disneyland recently, and I'm pretty sure that I read on the Disneyland board here that the GAD vouchers can't be redeemed for either park admission or fastpasses on a blockout day, so that's why I assumed it was the same for WDW. Either DL & WDW have different policies (wouldn't be the first time!) or I read wrong there! Either one is likely, I'm afraid.
