Anyone regret not trying Crocs for their trip?

I was going to buy a pair of Crocs for our upcoming trip. But I was worried they would be too bulky looking for me to wear(ugly). The thongs I would wear but I don't want my whole foot exposed while walking around the World.

So I was in modell's buying my son sandals and I see a pair of Nike sandals for women. I try them, they seem comfy so I bought them. I wore them around the house and they are cool and comfortable. I just hope I don't regret not buying the Crocs.

I just can't bring myself to wear crocs. I know they're actually quite the fad right now, even among young people, but I think I would feel so silly in them! And now that I've learned you're supposed to buy tennis shoes a half size up from street shoes, I don't get blisters wearing them at WDW anymore.

I've never gotten a pair of Crocs and I've never regretted it. I wear my Tevas and they're super comfy.

I bought a pair for myself and my daughter at the beginning of the summer from Nordstroms. I took about a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood with my daughter while she rode her bike, so I was walking quite fast for myself. When I got home, I noticed that my crocs were rubbing the insides of both of my feet(like on top of the ankle area) on the same exact spots. It was so bad that blisters formed, and now I have 2 scars on my feet. I returned them the next day to Nordstroms with no problem. I guess Crocs are not for everyone. I will stick to my Clark Springers. :thumbsup2

Crocs rock! :cloud9: There is nothing like them. I wore my Athens and thought I would be the only one; however, you will be surprised as to how many people wear Crocs at the World.

Well I tried them on and am not buying. They are either too small or too big... My feet just weren't made for them

I use Ecco Sport sandles....

Hey, All!

I thought the same thing about Crocs - bulky looking, ugly, etc. until I tried a pair last WDW trip (our 34th!)...like walking on air. I just ordered my second pair this morning to wear at WORK. Love those Crocs! :bounce:

Hi
The new Croc Scutes are really comfy. I wore them to the mall last week and they were great. I'll be wearing them to WDW in three weeks. Just wish they had them in a tan color, since it would match more of my clothes. They also look a little bulky, but I like the look a lot better than the other styles. I'm hoping not to have any blisters this time!!!

I also think they're bulky looking and when I tried them on, did not find them very comfy. I wore my Bass sandals or my tried and true Nike's and had no problems with blisters or sore feet.

I tried them, way too wide for me. I went and bought tevas instead. :)

I bought a pair about 6 weeks ago for our Sept WDW trip. But the things are so darn ugly, I can't bring myself to wear them. Maybe I'll wear them to work today (since no one else will be in there but me), and see if they really are that comfy.

There's another thread on here about how slippery they get when it's wet outside! Yikes!

I wish I could find a good sandal to wear to WDW.

I have a pair that I wear around the house and for errands. We are heading to Disney in August and I am a little worried about wearing them. I don't want to wear them right away and I get blisters, that would not be fun! So I am looking for another pair of shoes to take. I may wear them and bring another pair in my already giant bag of goodies and switch in the park if needed. :moped:

I just got mine this past wednesday. I wasn't sure about them either, but they were cheaper than Teva's so I figured i'd give them a try, and i love them. (I call them my clown shoes, mine are pink). I though they were too big when I first tried them on, but they're ok. DD8 loves them. I had 2 people ask me about them since I started wearing them.
