Anyone Regret Giving Up Unlimited Data Plan?

didn't have unlimited but did switch to the value plan and saved $40 per month and then removed my husbands line that he only used in the winter and saved another $20 now my bill is $102 per month for 2GB and phone insurance on one of the Iphones...loved saving some cash....

I am grandfathered on AT&T with unlimited data but I'm considering dropping it for the 10GB family share plan. I have 4 iPhones on my plan and I pay for the data separately. My monthly bill is about $220/month but would be around $150 with the new plan. I checked our historical usage and while I do use the most data on the family plan, we have never broken 8gb total in any given month. I am thinking of switching. Anyone make the switch? Anyone regret giving up their unlimited data?

I have not looked through this entire thread, but I will tell you that AT&T used to throttle unlimited accounts at 5gigs. So things would move a lot slower. They do not do that with the family share (and I can see a difference). We have gone over a few times, but I think it is because of some of the tethering we do - so I bumped up 1 level from the 10gb plan.
