I need to buy a set cases. I have never bought any before and was wondering if anyone can recommend something to me?
How much would I need to pay for good quality suitcases?
Also I would like to buy a special one for my daughter, something not to big and pink , (her favourite colour)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

I have Louis Vuitton ones ~ a little bit impractical but very stylish :thumbsup2 Haven't came across any pink ones yet though :confused3

I love my samsonite cases, I have several different styles and sizes. Although I love the Roxy idea, I adore Roxy stuff, I wear it all the time.

We always buy Antler - they do a range in pink. For a decent size case, you'd be looking at about £100-£150 depending on the range you choose.

I don`t know if anyone else has found this but your cases do get covered in oil. I bought a really nice red case a couple of years ago and now it`s really badly marked, I now understand why most cases are black!

We bought Samsonite cases and they are great, really sturdy, ease to wheel, and not too heavy! They come with a really good guarantee (five years I think).

They do all different sizes and colours but we went for very boring plain old blue but we decorate them with a load of Disney stickers when travelling together, makes it nice and easy to see your luggage on the carousel and they peel off easy afterwards.

Well I have the same cheap old suitcases I've had for several years, about £20 from a market stall, they go longhaul 3 or 4 times a year, short haul at least twice, several UK weekends away, ( and have done for about 7 years) they are battered, covered in oil etc they've never been locked (TSA or otherwise) and they're still going!!!
My beautiful (real) Gucci hand luggage bag only ever lasted one trip so I'd never buy expensive again.

I agree:thumbsup2

We've got Samsonite hard cases and on one of them last year the handle and wheel started to come away on one side. We phoned Samsonite up who sent new screwfixings by courier and it is now as good as new. I bought them in a shop's closing down sale and the salesperson had said any part of the case could always be replaced so it was good to know it wasn't just sales speel. :goodvibes

Just wanted to say that in Debenhams today, I noticed that a lot of their luggage was in the sale :)

The Clarks Outlets had some lovely pink 'Starburst' cases in various sizes in the sale last time I went.

I've also seen pink ones recently in Makro

Hi,
The Mail on Sunday magazine had an article in last weekend about what luggage was currently the one to be seen with and came up with THIS mind you you'll need VERY deep pockets..!!

Mick.

I am another fan of Samsonite - we have had our set for years and they are still great!!! They are so cheap to buy when in the US - don't know if they come in pink though. If you want to buy some good luggage before you go check out this site. luggage

Delsey 'volume' hard suitcases are great.

They take all the knocks and bangs, and you can get different colours so they stand out easily.

We have 3, Lilac, Red and Yellow.

A few people have complimented on how good they are , and most importantly how easily you can see them when waiting for your bags etc - they are a bit 'loud' but when you have 20/30 black suitcases and a bright yellow one , you tend to notice it :)

seems like Samsonite are a popular choice.. I will check them out and see if they have got some at debenhams or John Lewis when I next go to the trafford centre.

however she has now informed me that she wants a Minnie mouse one so I will be on the look out for one however I am not sure if I will be able to find one big enough :confused3

I like the idea of the Roxy one which would be perfect for my daughter.. hopefully she won't mind when she sees that its pink!
