Resort restaurants, especially moderate resorts. Olivia's at OKW and Turf Club at SSR. Artist Point. Maybe Jiko. Morocco.

You can walk into Guest Services at any park, or even go to any sit-down restaurant, and ask what's available at any other restaurant.

You will have the best chance of getting a last minute table at a resort. If you're at the MK you could try the Wave at the Contemporary or Trails End at Fort Wilderness. The Territory Lounge at WL has some good food, too. If you're at Epcot you could exit the International Gateway for one of the restaurants in the Epcot resort area. ESPN and Big River Grill at the Boardwalk often have availability. The Captain's Grill at YC is often available.

The young man working outside at Tony's told us they were all booked up, but to show back up around 4:15-4:20, right before they opened back up and we were seated on the terrace. MK: There really aren't that many table service options and getting walk-ups seems to be hit-or-miss. I would probably try for LTT or the Plaza Inn. If neither of those work, you might have to consider leaving MK and heading to one of the resorts. For the less busy Signatures, I like Artist Point (great food and outstanding service). For a non-Signature, I would probably look to the Grand Floridian Cafe (I hesitate to "recommend" GFC because while the food was good, but the service was very slow).

Epcot: This has the most options and you can usually get a walk-up at Marrakesh, Nine Dragons, and one of the Japanese places (either Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining).

DHS: Again, there aren't a lot of table service options. I think your best bet would be to head over to the Epcot resort area. Big River Grille doesn't take ADRs, so they're always available for walk-up. Yachtsman Steakhouse (good, but nothing exceptional) might be an option, as is Captain's Grille (okay food, noisy).

AK: Tusker House seems to always take walk-ups, even when the wait is a hour or more. I like Yak & Yeti or RFC and if you have the Landry Select Club card you don't need an ADR.

DTD: Most all of the DTD venues take walk-ups.

We have had great luck with Garden Grill in Epcot getting walk up reservations.

We really like Sanaa if you're in the Animal Kingdom area. I also think you can have better luck getting a reservation for rainforest cafe at AK if you call them directly (that is the case for sure at T-Rex, and they're owned by the same company).

In the MK area, Kona Cafe is really good. Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge is kind of fun - and the all you can eat platter is pretty decent.

I have to second Trail's End. Inexpensive and seems to be the same meal as the Mickey BBQ, just without Mickey We've never been turned away from breakfast or dinner here as a walk-up.

Check every day a few times a day. When i went last December 5-10 i would check a few times a day and always was able to get a reservation. I got Flying Fish, La Hacienda de San Angel (during illuminations!) and sci-fi dine-in (for lunch). I was flexible in my times and was able to get stuff. Good luck!

The restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin are not on the dining plan, so they may have availability. Even if they are booked solid on Disney's system, you may be able to get a table by calling them directly.
