Anyone recommend a color printer?

I have the WORST luck with printers. I need a new one badly and since they have tons of sales now I thought now would be a good time. I'm thinking Best Buy would be cheapest.

I don't need one of those 18 in 1 that are the size of a refridgerator and probably cool you're food while you print a paper out, but I just need one that is reliable. I'd like to have that thing where you can print out pictures from your memory card from the printer. Those are cool.

Any suggestions?

We have an HP printer, and love it.

I also like HP printers myself. Mine have last 10 years.

We own three HP DeskJet printers and they have all been very reliable. About the only disadvantage that HP has over others is that when one color runs out, you need to replace the entire tri-color cartridge.

I don't know about a recommendation, but I'll share this. I went through two Lexmarks in about 6 months. Had a HP for couple years before it died. I got a Cannon that I had forever and only got a new one (Cannon) because of new features. People say Cannons use too much ink, though.

Thanks everyone! I've already crossed Epson (what a waste of money and the thing was the size of the washer and dryer) and Lexmark (went through 2 of those in a year).

HP sounds good so far!
