I was just wondering. I noticed PA is eligable for the incentive. I thought in the past they weren't. I had 2 people I refered purchase DVC this year and I am wondering if I can get the credit or its too late. I never heard anything. Should I call my Rep?

Hey, that's great that PA is now eligible! I would definitely call my guide to see. Keep us posted.

I referred someone earlier this year. Their guide told them I would receive the Gift Card for referring them. Instead all I got was a letter from my guide thanking me for referring them and letting me know that my friends had now completed their purchase.

I called my guide because I never received my credit for referring my Dad to DVC. He said that it was in the computer, but he could not do anything about it and gave me this number (407) 566-3318.
It took the CM about 2 minutes to fix the problem and I got my confirmation the following day. You might want to give them a ring.

I got the envelope and tossed it! They don't pay me enough to do their jobs for them! They spend way too much money on putting those packages *mailers* together as well....

Yes, I got one and I have already given it to a guy at work with one of the referral cards.

LOL I thought it came because we just returned from WDW and they wanted me to strike while the fire was still hot! I showed him our trip pictures and gave him the DVD and a card. I removed the inside stuff and just gave him the round compass thingy with the DVD and I tore off 2 of the cards and placed them inside.

Did you watch that DVD?

OK, I'm slow tonight... What does PA stand for?

Thanks
Dennis-

I got mine in the mail yesterday, first thing I checked was PA's eligibility as well. My guide had told me last year that they were close to getting PA on the referral eligible list...YEAH!

Now, I just have tof igure out who to share the magic with without sounding like I am trying to hook someone into a a sleezy timeshare deal.

Well, an update. I called my guide. They have me down as referring my aunt but because she bought the end of last year it doesn't count. The kicker is she didn't close on her papers until January of 2008 but she signed all the papers in 2007. So no incentives for us.

What ticks me off is that I have referred four families (with 2 of the 4 actually joining on the same day and on the same cruise we were on), and we get NOTHING! That is because we live in California. Byron H was really apologetic about it. But, he did say that whenever we're back in Florida, just let him know and we'll have something waiting for us.

We got the mailer. Sure expensive-looking.

Anyhow, we referred folks a couple of years ago, but being in CA, didn't get anything. I think we might be eligible for referral bonuses now, but I don't have anyone to refer at the moment!

We got ours today also. I saw PA and thought it had to be a mistake. I was going to ask our guide next time.
We did a referral last year and got nothing so I was going to throw this away also but decided to read the states while we ate dinner.
Great surprise!

I couldn't believe the quality of the paper they used!

Have not received anything in the mail yet. I sure hope something comes before Friday, as it is the last day of school and several people are going down this summer and I would like to get some credit if they end up taking the tour. :)

I saw PA and thought it had to be a mistake. I was going to ask our guide next time.

I got my annual check-in call from my guide and she let me know that PA residents are now eligible for Share the Magic rewards so that wasn't a mistake. The mailer came the following week. I referred a friend several years ago and only got a "thanks, you're nice" postcard so I'm excited.

I watched the video. Almost identical to WDW Secrets Revealed (Casey is still our guide through the world)-a few new pictures and a few added interviews but mostly the same. In the special features: The resort tour is different though-a nice look at all the resorts and the different rooms in each. I enoyed that part. Better than just the floor plans.

I just received it here in Pa today.

I received it....my first thought "this is VERY expensive advertising". I guess getting owners to 'plug' the product is very cost effective for them.
