Anyone recently been to SSR? Is there any news on the table service restaurant?

Just wondered if anyone who had recently stayed @ SSR seen any sign of building work for the new restaurant.

I heard it was going to open in the summer - I just hope its there by Aug.

Any news or info would be welcomed.

Have not heard anything, my friend that worked there transferred to another resort. Sorry.

We were there the 3rd week of March. CMs were putting up signs for planned expansion. Didn't see any signs of any construction, tho. It looks like it's going to be to the left of the bar area in the Turf Club? Not real sure on that. We did spend time in the Turf Club on more than one day.

Just wanted to add that I too have not heard anything, and what's more, I have never had a friend who worked there.

I'm not adverse to the idea of having a friend who works there, in fact I do have friends who work at the Grand Californian and the Disneyland Hotel in California, but I just don't have any who have or still do work there.

Just wanted to clear that up.

SSR is one of my home resorts. I would love it if the put a full service restaurant in there. I don't like having to leave the resort to get a sit down meal.
