We leave Friday for a week at the Poly GV Concierge. Any feedback on how things are going since moving back into Hawaii would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No feedback YET, but we leave for Polynesian concierge on SATURDAY! :) We'll be there 4 nights and then on to the YC for 4 nights.

Are you as excited as we are???? :jumping1:

Hey Jill - maybe we will see you there! DH and I will be staying Poly concierge this Saturday through Tuesday celebrating our anniversary. He still thinks we are making this a budget trip and staying offsite :D I can't wait!!

Hello,

I was at the Poly Concierge from Oct 30~Nov 6, 2003. I have no prior experience to compare my stay with at the concierge level but will tell you that Mom & I had a great time. I met Chef Dick at the concierge lounge and he was as great as the reports I have seen here on the Dis Board. The lounge was a bit crowded at the beginning of the "meals" but after about 20 mins they slowed down. There always seemed to be enough food for everyone. The only really crowded day was Nov 5th at night and that was due to torrential rain so alot of people came to the lounge at once.

As far as the room service we never had a problem. The conceirge staff was helpful and pleasant.

Mom's final words were: "We will definately have to do this again".

:teeth:

mbswats - we'll be there the exact same days! :) (and then on to the YC) I will be the Mom trying to separate my two kids - DD4 and DS who will be 9 on tuesday, and trying to keep the peace. :)

Tiggers Friend,
Can you please tell me what type of food offerings they had in the evenings? Thanks!

Jill I arrive on Sat the 14th. My hubby is not coming so I will be the one with the 4 1/2 year old daughter and her newborn brother 3 months old. See ya there.

Confal1 - wow! You sure are the brave one going alone with two little ones! :)

Maybe our DD's will see each other - mine loves to find kids her own age to hang out with, especially at the pool.

The bird baths froze last night so I am REALLY hoping for HOT florida weather! We were there last nov. and had some days in the 40's! Only the kids went in the (heated) pools.

Got to start packing soon!!

Jill

Bottled water, coffee (decaff also), hot water for tea and hot chocolate, juice, lemonade. Cold chocolate milk and apple juice were available if you asked for them behind the counter.

The evening serivice is from 5:00-7:00PM.

Have a great trip. :wave2:
