Anyone read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown?

Loved them both! I think I liked Da Vinci Code better because I remember studying the art mentioned in the book and could picture it very clearly. I even had my Gardner's art book out as a refrence. LOL

If you like this type of mystery you should try Clive Cussler. His writing can be more scientific at times but he is an amazing writer.

I very much enjoyed both books , my preference was A+D. I think we'll need to do our own little Rome visitors club LOL, to check out all the places mentioned. I've been to Rome before, and it is truly a wonderful city to visit, but I'm really looking forward to going back armed with a list of places to visit. As a side note, for anyone going to Rome, DO NOT MISS GOING TO POMPEII IMHO it's the most increadable place I've ever visited. You can do it in a day trip from Rome, but IMHO it needs an overnight stay and a full day in the ancient town itself.

I work only a couple of miles from the London Mason's church mentioned in The Code so that's somewhere I plan to visit in the summer :D.

I have read A & D, DaVinci Code and Digital Fortress. I am not reading Deception Point. I liked A & D best, then DaVinci Code. Digital Fortress was good but the other two are better. I have not gotten far into Deception Point but that and Digital Fortress were not as enthralling as the first two I read. I don't know if the subject matter interests me less or if I am just tired of the writing style. I'll let you know when I am finished with Deception Point.

Liked Angels and Demons better than Davinci Code especially because I have been in all the places where the former takes place and the descriptions are greatly accurate.

Brown is a master of easy to read suspense.

Hope they make his books into movies soon.

Loved them both! I am on a quest to read all of his books now :)

I liked the book, but it was hard to get over the glaring plot whole of the whole search taking forever. I mean it was a wireless camera, meaning that they could have triangulated on the frequency and found it in about 10 minutes.

I just finished A&D and absolutely loved it! Picked it up in the airport on our way to Switzerland, which made it even more exciting to read, since I was so close to so much of what he was talking about.

I want to go to Rome now, too, and I'm also very curious about how much of the Illuminati stuff is fact vs fiction.

Still waiting to get my hands on DaVinci Code. I don't want to pay hardback prices for it, so I'm waiting until either I can get it at the library, or it comes out in paperback, whichever comes first.

Finished A&D the other day...once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. I also liked it better the DaVinci's Code...HOlding his other two books at the library.
