Has anyone done this?? Have you had good luck with getting a nice hotel and a good deal??

We have always done Priceline. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a car. All the hotels we have gotten (Hilton, Hyatt Regency and Crowne Plaza) have had their own shuttle or are near ART but I don't think there's any guarantee of that. The other thing to consider is that if you bid on 3 1/2* (which is what we always do), you're going to have parking or resort fees of $15/day.

Hope this helps!

I have done it a bunch of times (5-7times) I love it.

I almost always get what I want. I bid $39-42 for a 2.5* and they always bump me up to 3* You can bid high $55-66 and get a 3.5* like the hilton but they have parking fees and stuff.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I know that bidding is a little scary but its sooo worth it. :thumbsup2

Yes, all the time, I have gotten a 3 for as low as $36, I never bid below a 3star though.

We've gotten the Doubletree, Marriott Suites x2, Holiday Inn x2 as well. My fave was the Doubletree and it had a free shuttle (not like it matters we have AP's with parking)

There used to be a website that listed the winning bids and dates so it made it easier to figure out Priceline. Has anyone seen it recently? I went to the page I had bookmarked and it is not there!

Thank you so much, I knew the site had to be there somewhere. I find it very helpful.

You're welcome! It is a great site. I use it anytime I'm going to book through Priceline.
