Anyone planning for 2015?

Has anyone ever done or considered doing the last Halloween party and staying until the first Christmas party? We are considering this for 2015.

i have considered this, and i think it would be an okay idea! not as many things will be decorated though for the end of your trip with xmas, but depending on how long you stay the 'main' staples will be there

Just back from a mid november trip and it feels sooooo long ago!
hoping for a september 2015 trip!!
do a 4 day Bahamas cruise first ( which seem to leave on sundays ) and then stay in wdw until the following week wednesday or thursday! (17th-23rd)

I like the moderates and their pricing. Since PORFQ was excluded in 2013 and both were excluded this year it has me a little disappointed!
We always travel with at least another group of 2. I do not like to share a bathroom, i cannot handle that, so sharing a room with another group just doesn't work for me .
I have done some 'pre' planning based on some pricing for this years room rates in september. If we book a one bedroom suite at Bay Lake Towers, lake view or std view and then split it between the two groups evenly, its pretty much the same price as two rooms at a moderate resort, only you cannot walk to the magic kingdom from a moderate..
I might even be able to swing the upgrade to a Magic Kingdom VIEW!!

We're planning to go in exactly 12 months time

I've booked Easter - 5 nights in art of animation and 9 in a nearby villa
But we're switching to last week of May now.

hotel TBC, just getting prices possibly port of orleans, but seeing if any of the fancy ones come in at affordable.

We are going on a trip with extended family in February 2015 (probably 12-14 of us and will be staying off site in a rental house) and then a short mom/son trip in October 2015 before my annual pass expires. I'm looking at either renting DVC points or possibly a stay at POP for that trip.

After that it will probably be 2 years before we return again.

Early in 2015 packages will start coming out in mid-July.

Now, if you're looking for later in 2015 (September / October, for instance, you won't find package prices for that time frame until that time actually passes this year -- if that makes sense!)

For instance, once 2015 packages come out this summer, I can go ahead and book my May 2015 vacation package -- because May 2014 has already passed. But I'll have to wait until early October to book my September 2015 vacation package.

Thank you! I've never planned over a year out. But there is extended family going in 2015 and they all wanted a year to get things paid out. I booked my RO because I know how fast the bunk rooms go at WL! It's all about keeping the kiddos happy

I hear ya! I've never gone twice in one year before!! I'm so excited! And it'll be my first trip without the hubby. He can only take so much Disney (((what??))) and wants to go in the fall for Food & Wine & MNSSHP -- so I'm just taking the kids by myself in May!

Happy Planning !! Super jealous of WL!!! We love that resort but have only been there to dine at Whispering Canyon!

I've booked mine for Easter 2015 - but will be switching the dates to May 2015 tomorrow - I'm in the Uk so the packages are available earlier here i guess.

Looking at August 8-16 at POFQ. We usually go POP, but DW wants to try a mod this time. She has always loved the style of POFQ.

I'm making our DVC reservation tomorrow for AKV, April 30-May 5. We are keeping our hopes up that there will be an Expedition Everest race as planned. We are also praying that DD8's knee heals up so that she will be able to do it. She is the one that had the idea for our family to do it in the first place. DH said he will carry her on his back if her knee doesn't heal.

Booked for November 2014 but life is changing so we will most likely be changing it to November 2015 as the PIF date gets closer. Just the thought is killing me!

Planning a "triple graduation" trip next June ... can't wait. Gonna go for over a week too YAY!!! I have to narrow down a resort. I'd love the Pirate room at cbr but my girls want AOA ... At least I have time!
Does anyone know when they will release reservations for June? I'm sure I have a while but it would be great to get that done.

Planning a trip in June 2015. We are deciding on a resort. We have always wanted to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is is worth the extra $$?? Do you really see animals ? If we stay there, I would definitely book the savanna view room. I am just not sure it is worth the extra money.

We always stay at Pop Century and the my girls would like to upgrade this trip.

How about one night (last night?) in a savanna room - so just pack light that day. rather than spend for it the whole time?


I've switched our trip from Easter at Art Of Animation
to end May/June in Contemporary - it was almost £3000 cheaper! update with the virgin discount and $200 disney money its £4600 less !

i could of saved more staying with AoA but i wanted to be walking distance.
