Have you any plans -any thoughts?

I think it`s because we`ve done so much of the med and as much as I like it, it does feel so much more like home. I love the "American" feel with DCL. It`s really hard to put into words.........disneyholic family said:why do you think you wouldn't enjoy the Mediterranean as much?

Does anyone know when they are taking bookings for this new itinery? TIA.

SimonV said:The legal drinking age aboard will still be 21 (as with princess, Royal Caribbean and the other American lines). Bookings should open April 4, but there is already a long 'waiting' list with various agents. I'd check with Dreams Unlimited as they specialise in DCL and may well be well-placed to help out asap. The home port looks likely to be Marseilles (which would be a big surprise over the likes of Barcelona and Civitavecchia), but there is a lot still up in the air until the official announcement. I think their rates will be all-important as there is much greater competition on Med routes at that time of year and DCL can't offer the likes of Castaway Cay to keep their rates at a premium.
would be great if it was Southampton as the home portgilld said:I think the prices will be a lot more than DCL are currently charging, since port taxes in the Med are considerably more than the Caribbean.
I'd possible be interested if it was ex Southampton but not if a Mediterranean port is used since the baggage allowances are so poor on European fly/cruises.
