Anyone paid Check for "extras" on board..tomorrow

Hi,

We are leaving tomorrow...had to cancel our cards about an hour ago..and won't have our cards in time...does anyone know about paying with a check at the end of the cruise?

I am not sure they will take a personal check, I don't know why not, though. Maybe see about travelers checks, I know they will cash them at Guest Services, so I bet they will take them for payment on your account.

We are just back from the Wonder and we didn't use credit cards. When you check in at the port, they will ask you how you will pay your account, we used travellers checks, they will tell you to go to Guest Services and put down a deposit. We went every second day to make sure that we were still using our credits. When we did use them up we just use more travellers checks.

It also makes it easier for leaving. No having to settle your account the last morning. We had it all settled up the night before, even got the left over money from our credits from them.

please calm your fears...just call DCL and ask.
We did put a CC on file during our jan 03 cruise but wrote a check from our companys credit union mid week for 6 or $700. They did offer up to $100 in cash and took the rest against our account. DCL did call and get an approval..not sure if it was from our bank or from a company that would guarantee the check.
