Anyone own any Diamonique?

I love my diamonique! I had trouble with a ring at one time that didn't clean well. I sent it back asking them if I was doing something wrong when cleaning it & how long their guarantee was; they sent me a replacement. That was a nice surprise since the 30 day replacement/exchange was long over. Usually any ring cleaner works or ammonia window cleaner in a pinch. I've also used their cleaner.

I could tell the ring had problems because when holding it to see the facets you could see a cloudy spot on each facet. I even soaked it in cleaner but that didn't work.

I think their platinum over metal is platinum layered over sterling silver? I haven't tried it since I prefer yellow gold. Most of my gold is from QVC; their gold rush prices can't be beat.

I need to replace my mickey ear earrings. I lost one at WDW last July. It just flew off as I was changing my tee shirt. I found the earring back but not the earring. I wonder what the mousekeepers thought if they found it??? I like leverback earrings best because they're more secure; too bad the mickey ears are studs instead.

You won't be unhappy with any diamonique or gold purchase you make from QVC. It's fun watching people try & decide if the items are real.

LMAO neighbor.. Ive been watching the QVC show too. I have a cpl of pieces.. nothing real big and all my girlfriends think they are real. The only girl I dont wear it around is my friend whose husband owns Lee Michaels . :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have had a diamonique 14k yellow gold eternity ring for at least 12 years. I wear it daily as a wedding band. A stone fell out. I contacted customer service and they are sending an envelope to return the ring for repair. Now that's a guarantee!!!

Ah, someone must be watching Diamonique Week! :woohoo:

I have quite a few pieces of Diamonique - I have a strict policy that I never buy my own "real" jewelry (I save that for the spouse! LOL) I have it set in white gold and Epiphany (yes, it's 2 layers of platinum over sterling silver.)

I have never had a problem with the quality of the jewlery from QVC, and my oldest pieces are about 5 years old. Nothing has "turned", rubbed off, gotten cloudy, etc. Now, I have had nothing but problems with my HSN CZ jewelry - Absolute. I don't recommend that at all.

I have a 2 carat solitaire round brilliant cut Diamonique in a sterling silver setting. It cost less than $20 when I bought it about 12 years ago- I got it to wear when we were on vacation, so I wouldn't worry about losing my real gold and diamond wedding set.

Whenever I wear it, I have people actually grab my hand and gasp. They think it is real, and gorgeous! One of the other soccer moms actually said I must have been a VERY good girl for "Santa" to give me such a diamond! :rotfl2:

When I tell people it is a cheap Diamonique, they can't believe it. Most tell me I should keep that information to myself, because they couldn't tell it wasn't real. I have had that ring forever, and it still looks wonderful. I also have an anniversary-type band with small brilliants in it, but it doesn't get the attention the big sparkler gets.

About 10 years ago, I bought my mother some cz earrings for Christmas. She loves them. Many people will comment on her beautiful diamond earrings. We will just look at each other and smile.

I am so annoyed with my cable company.. they pulled qvc along with a few other channels. Unless we upgrade to their digital plan:headache:

This one is calling my name

I used to own an Epiphany Diamonique wedding set that was gorgeous. Well, when I received it and wore it, I was very unhappy. It looks very fake. The diamond is very yellow-y and the ring (which is obviously silver) runs small and felt tight (should have bought a bigger size). I sold my set on eBay. That being said, I would probably purchase a different Ephiphy Diamonique jewlery in the future.

What is the difference between diamonique and cubic zirconia?

I have several pieces of Epiphany and non Epiphany Diamonique, rings and necklace, and I can't tell you the amount of compliments I've received on them. I even had an orthopedic surgeon grab my hand and tell me my ring looked just like the one he had recently bought his fiance! I had to laugh and tell him mine was not real diamonds, although that particular ring was set in 14k white gold. I love my Diamonique, and even if I did have the money to buy "real", I don't think I would, I'd rather use that money for vacations.

I would love to get a piece or two. The circle that we 'run' in (:rotfl2: )is all of DH's co-workers and spouses. I have the smallest wedding set by far and no 'extra' diamonds. His partner's wife has a 3 ct. solitare and small diamond pave band. Everyone has at least 1.5cts (center stones) ... who knows maybe those are all fake. Mine is not small in the least, just compared to them. Mine is a .90 solitare and a 1.25 carate anniversary band as a wedding band!!!

I'd love a nice necklace and bracelet. I don't know that I could get a wedding set and feel comfortable wearing it, even on vacation. I'd feel like I wasn't appreciative of what DH was able to get me by doing that!!

Well you can think about it this way.
My best friend and I were on vacation in New Orleans and after dinner heading back to her hotel she glanced at her ring.. a two ct. heart shaped flawless diamond and it was GONE!!!! Oh it was horrible, we retraced our steps for two hours and finally had to call her hubby and confess.

He reacted ok and a month later she had a new 15,000 heart shaped diamond on her hand.
( and a month after that she left him cuz he wouldnt stop cheating.. we call it her "shut up and take it diamond")
I guess she did take it didnt she ; )

I don't have any CZ, but I do have a gorgeous 1.5ct moissanite solitaire set in white gold. It looks so real that even a jeweler with a loop thought it was real. Of course, I don't think he was that great of a jeweler, as a good jeweler should be able to see the double refraction of moissanite. But if it is that hard for a jeweler to tell the difference, it is almost impossible for a regular person to.

It is a bit more expensive than Diamonique and other forms of CZ, but I just love the sparkle of moissanite.
