Anyone own an elliptical machine?

I think they have a Precor 556 at the Y! I LOVE IT!!!!! Oh and that is from someone who dreads exercising when I get up. Then I'm happy once I get there and hop and that one. LOVE IT! Wish I had one at home. lol

The one from Wal-Mart is very well made. It's not expensive and works great. You can't beat it for that price. I think it would be a good purchase.

How do you like it? I'd love to get a better one for $400, and need it to be sort of small, but now I'm nervous about buying one from walmart. Is this a good brand?

Be sure to look for the right one. Walmart sells several brands and some are not good. The one we have is found at this link

I went to Sports Authority tonight. They had the Eclipse one that you guys are talking about on sale for $350. I ended up getting another one for 399, regular price was 699. It just felt a lot more sturdy and had more features. I will look at the brand/model and post back. I want to look up some reviews on it too. It's outside and so is DH with the receipt and I can't remember what it's called. We've looked at so many tonight

I was going to get a gazelle next month. On sale at Walmart for $89. Any thoughts on this one?

Oh yeah, I didn't want a gazelle becuase I thought they looked cheap, but I tried one out tonight at sports authority. Well, one of the shocks was messed up, one leg went flying forward and backward while the other didn't go as much. I'd take that as an indication that the shocks won't last long. it did feel a little more sturdy than i expected it to though. Anyway, definately try one out before you buy it. I know walmart doen't have displays to try out, but go to sports authority or somewhere that you can test it before you buy it.
