Anyone own a portable DVD player?

We have been thinking about getting one of these. Thought it would be great for the kids and our 5th wheel. I need one with headphones slots and that would hook up to our TV in the trailer. DH wants to stay around $300. SO we know it probably wont be fantasic. I did look this weekend and wouldn't go any smaller that a 7" screen. Others are to little, rest to pricey.
I have been looking at an Audiovox, I seen posted on the boards somewhere. Can't find it now. Anyone have one of these? Alot of reviews complained about skipping, just wondered how bad that really is?

Well...Thanks for any info or advice you can pass along. I really appreciate it! Between this an looking at digital cameras, I'm pulling my hair out ( and learning alot)! Also, if you know of any reliable websites to purchase of off...I'd love to have them. It's been tough to find these in stores. But I'd want to make sure it was a site you can trust...I don't buy online to often. Still chicken I guess!!!

We have one. Not for sure of the brand name though. DW bought it at Target. We did have one of the VCR players and little TV that we took with us when we traveled. The DVD player is sooooooo nice and so easy to hook up. Very, Very good picture quality. I was very gald we bought it. I even take it to the pool area when we are on vacation and watch a movie since I can't go down on the sand with the rest of the family.

I know Target is having a sale on them right now here in Ohio. Hope this helped.

We've been in Costco two days in a row now and my kids are in love with the Audiovox they have on display. It's 289.99, with an LCD display.

If I wasn't planning on getting a DVD rom drive for my laptop, I'd probably be planning ways to get it. I truly am a 'gadget girl', lol.
