Anyone own a kenmore He3t or He4t??

Hi to anyone who answers. I Have a He4t washer and dryer (3 weeks old today) I love it but am intimidated it by it. I need to wash everyones sneaks but don't know the best way about doing it can I put them all in (4 or 5 pairs) together or should I do a pair with a normal load of laundry? I don't want to mess up what will hopefully be my last washer and dryer ( 1st set we ever bought brand new!!!!!!!) Thanks for any help.

I have the He3t set, but I don't have an answer for you. I've never washed sneakers.

The only time that I washed tennis shoes was when I was washing a down coat and I threw that pair in to keep the down from matting.

I know that the dryer came with a rack that you can set them on to dry, so that they don't tumble around. I wonder if you can put them on the delicate or wool cycle so that they don't tumble too much in the washer, and then put them on the rack by themselves in the dryer?

I just washed some sneakers today in my He3t!!!

I would put 2 pairs in with an old towel. Then, do the other 2. I, personally don't dry them - even with the rack.

But, I do wash sneakers quite a bit- never been a problem.

I second putting a towel in with a couple of pairs of shoes. I have dried them in the dryer also, but I usually just air dry them.

Glad to finally be able to help someone - I'm usually the one asking for help!

I just use the normal setting and change the water to all cold.

Thank you I put a couple of towels in with 1 pair, only I used the sanitary cycle cause man, did they stink peeeeeeeeyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeww. Washing hubbies now on cold so we will have to see how they come out . BTW the 1st pair look like they did when they were brand new.
