Anyone out there have soapstone counters?

We're going to be remodeling our kitchen in the fall. I'm strongly considering soapstone counters. Anyone have experience with them? If I don't choose soapstone then it will be granite.

that based on what I 've been told that soapstone counters are more suseptable to marring/stains and are much more maintenance intensive than granite tops. Check with Home Depot or Lowes on the pros and cons.

I think my sis is having Silestone put in her kitchen. I haven't heard of soapstone. (I have tile - with, ugh - grout!)
