Anyone out there done the Disney marathon/half marathon?

I have never entered in any kind of race before, but would like to set a goal of doing one of the above(depends how things go!) in Jan 2004. I am a complete novice and would love to hear from anyone who has done the Disney marathon! What was it like? Were there characters etc? Good atmosphere? Were there other novices like me?!

I think we do the equivalent of a marathon every time we go to WDW

I am considering doing this event in 2004 .Where in Uk do you live ?Perhaps we can get together to train now and again or at least encourage each other.
