I'm curious as to what your experience was.

It seems like a lot of these online gown boutiques offer excellent, no-frills deals on gowns. But it is scary to order a gown without having seen it on first.

Anyone do this? How did it go?

Oh, and if you did and had a good experiecne, I'd love to see the link.

Thanks!

I bought my wedding dress from ebay- it was a company selling the dress and it was brand new. They sent it over to the uk for me and it only cost me half the price as it would of back here!!

I am ordering my bridesmaids dresses from here:http://www.everafterformal.com/

I went to visit the shop when i was on holiday in the USA last month and they were very helpful. They sell wedding dresses as well.

I would recommend choosing the dress that you want then trying to find it on the internet. That way you can try it on. I didn't do this though, I ordered the dress after only seeing a picture!

If you want to ask me any questions about my purchase feel free!!

I've heard of brides using BrideSave.com with no problems.
I also reccomend trying on dresses in the store and then looking for the exact brand and style number on that site. They can deliver pretty quick too.

I ordered my dress from netbride.com and they are awesome. It came way before they said it would be here and it was beautiful. I searched the designers websites and found what I liked. None of the local shops had the exact dress, but they had some similar ones by the same designer, so I looked at them and tried them on. I had a great expericence and saved a lot of money.

I've recently ordered my Wedding Dress online from Bridesave.com and I got it about a week and a half ago. I paid the retail price which was $120. It is a Jessica McClintock dress, it's an informal tea legnth dress. I love It!! It took about 2-3 weeks for shipping from the Jessica McClintock company. I didn't look for it in stores, I just saw it and fell in love with it. I haven't tried it on yet because I know I'll have to get it altered. That's the only thing about getting a Dress online, you'd have to find someone to do the altering for you and that can be expensive. Luckily I can get the woman who made my sister's wedding gown to alter mine and she doesn't charge alot!
