Anyone order a cake for a surprise for the kids?

Is it possible to order a cake, or a big cookie cake for a surprise for the kids when you get to your room? I am not sure if this is possible, but I would love to get a buzz light year theme surprise for my boy.. We are staying at the Poly, if location mattes.

Her my dh and I we had to sing happy birthday to her in front of the entire WC my no means am I Whitney Houston and my dh is Clay Aiken. It was a wonderful time.

I ordered the cinderella shoe dessert personalized for my wife at CRT but you can do cakes at most of the TS if you order ahead. I don't know about room service though.

I'm ordering tuxedo strawberries w/a chocolate mickey for DH on Father's Day to be set up in our room.

He better be ordering me something!

I forwarded him all the ordering info, GF bakery number, cakes that I recommend that he order me I gave him a choice! Told him he could have it delivered to the room or to the restaurant or if he'd prefer to the Grand 1 Yacht which he could reserve for my birthday I'm betting he deleted my email now!

Oh, many people have ordered from cookies by design. They will deliver to the resorts. I believe you have to go down to the front desk and pick up the cookie arrangement then set it up in your room for your family. But that's something cute and different. I think they also have large cookies pies too.

Yes location does matter. You need to contact Poly's private dining. You could order a Buzz cake and have them deliver it to your room, they will set it up with cake plates, forks, napkins or have it delivered to a restaurant.

I've heard it's best to have it delivered to the room since you never finish the entire cake at the restaurant. And who wants to walk around WDW holding a cake box!

We plan on ordering a cake for our boys when we stay at AKL in June as a "welcome to disney" idea. The mickey head cake is so cute!

Very cool. I will check out that cake thread. I actually may not tell my husband and have it be for fathers day too. We leave on Fathers day, but I may order the day before!
