Anyone been 4 a visa interview in london recently? I was wondering how long people have been having to wait for email to say whether they have been granted one or not. (re applying for one for having criminal record)????

Dh has to get a visa every year as he is not British and they always tell him on the day, I've never heard of them emailing a decision.

my dh snd kids have to have visas too, they re french.

sister in law was refused a visa last christmas after flying to belfast, she had a minor conviction under theft act, luckily virgin switched the booking to Cuba.

Email came!!! Took just under 3 weeks!!

Was it a recent conviction as i have had 2 visa's for convictions (15+ Yrs ago) and got them no problem.
