Anyone on the February 27th 4 night Wonder?

Hi there!
I too am doing the late seating, we eat at around 7 here anyway so... DD 7 will have much more fun not having to rush for dinner, and I thought the early show, dinner then a little star gazing, family disco or deck partying would be fun. She's a late sleeper so being up a bit later on vacation is fine with me. Late breakfasts lead to late lunches... perfect for late seating!

I am an early riser no matter what time I go to bed, so I'm planning on doing my own fun (shopping, spa, reading on deck) in the mornings. It seemd to me like there are some fun Kid Club activites available for those doing late seating as well.

I just read on another Board (CruiseCri***) that a family of 23 will be on our Cruise as well. I kind of have mixed feelings about such a BIG group being on board. Does anyone have experience with Big Groups or even bigger groupings? I probably won't even notice them on board.
Sorry I was probably fretting over nothing!

When we sailed in Sept., We had a group of 14. We had a table to ourselves for dinner. With everyone going in different directions, the hardest part was knowing where everyone was at! Sense 7 of the kids were mine, I was too busy tracking them down than to really take advantage of all the neat things to do on board. This time with taking only one child- the other one is 20, I plan on doing alot of things that i missed the first time. The party sounds so cool, I'm going to try to get an outfit together for my daughter. She will have a blast. I just hope she can stay up that late.

In my experiene, I really don't think it matters. We had early dining. There are many more children on the early dining. It kind of became a running joke but every single night DS would fall asleep in the chair waiting for his dinner. I have many pictures of it. It's so funny. He's all dressed up in suits, dress shirts, mickey vests and he's crashed in the chair. Our servers thought is was so cute and funny! We did manage to wake him up to eat. Really I think there are pros and cons to both so I don't think it matters which dining you have. We have early again just because that's what we're use to. The only thing I didn't like about it was a little bit of rushing around that comes with it. We've been assigned a table by ourselves and we've sat with another family. I enjoyed both dining experiences.

About the group, I wouldn't worry about that at all. It's not that big a group. Now if if were some type of company/convention thing, I'd worry but your right in thinking you probably will not even notice them.

Packing and staying on the ship. I know a lot of people stay on the ship in Nassau, especially if they've been before. You won't be board that's for sure and you'd have a relatively empty ship to enjoy. We rented a room and are doing Atlantis just because my kids are interested in a trip there. I don't think you'll be unhappy with either decision. Whatever you decide to do will be very enjoyable.

Packing??? Ask away, I'm hardly an expert, but we travel every year so I've had lots and lots of experience on overpacking ::yes::

I was checking out the Menu for the Pirate Dinner, looks good, but which restaurant will this be offered in? And which night?

Can someone please give my Barb's Site address. And for some reason you can't post it on here please e-mail it to me at dagjacob@yahoo.com
Thank YOU
Thank You!

Hmm .
Let me try again. Is there a rule/reason you can't link outside websites?

Sorry if I did something naughty!

Has not been confirmed yet. Only mentioned. The deck party is confirmed. I spoke to DCL on this. Some of the CM's know and others do not. The last CM told me she thought there would be a dinner the same night as the Pirate Deck Party so that would be the second evening or the night of Nassau. If it happens, all restaurants will offer this no matter what your rotation. Although it would be kind of fun to have your dinner that night in Parrot Cay just because of the tropical atmosphere, you'll have the same experience as everyone else. Another good site for info is Dave's DCL Tribute.

So far it looks like only a few of us are cruizing!!!

Since I'm new to boards, when do we do a roll call? I'm wondering what other kids are going to be onboard!!!!

Since some of you have Cruised with Disney before, When and where is best time to Meet? I would love to get a DIS meeting planned but I'm pretty clueless to what it's like on a Cruise.
Any Ideas from the pro's?
