I recently did a lot of stalking and had to re-login a lot. Today I realized many times I don't need to type the account and password. It seems the login session has been extended. Anyone has similar observation?
Edit 7/28: now I got a one-time passcode. Is multi-factor authentication being implemented?

Yes, I noticed this awhile back. I will sometimes have to log in again when trying to do a search.

It lets me go a long while. When it starts with 2 factor I quit and I start over. Once I give in and do the 2 factor they dont stop.

I just logged in and got an MFA prompt, had to get a code via SMS. I wish they'd let me use an authenticator app.

Changing up login session lengths, requiring MFA, etc., is a good way to slow down/stop bot activity...
Good point! And the changes are not consistent. So, they might be using such tricks to detect bots. (But that also tells I probably refreshed too frequently already)

Inconsistent website flows like this are things that humans can tolerate often without even noticing things have changed, but foil many bots. Especially the low-tech clicker bots that basically just press keystrokes automatically.
