I made it through the day without spending anything. I did look a bit online but didn't find anything I wanted or need.

So it was a no spend black friday for me! Woo hoo!

Anyone else?

I only spent $5 on an Old Navy Groupon today. Of course, I already bought the BF specials I wanted on Wednesday

me too..... well I spent $40 co-pay for a cortisone injection in my shoulder.. That finished me off for the day..

There wasn't anything Black Friday that I was interested in though...
Congrats on your savings!

I didn't spend a penny either. We decided to spend the whole day around the house...so I haven't even been to a store today:cool1::cool1:. I do have plans to shop on Monday online though...hoping I get most of my shopping done that day:banana::banana:

I spent nothing as well. I did not see anything I needed at a good enough price to battle the crowds today.

I spent $6 at the Hardware store to get some supplies to get all of our Christmas decorations up. DW spent some money on filling the gas tank, but other then that... ZIP!

Unfortunately my dishwasher died yesterday. It is almost seven years old and it would have run about $300 to repair it. So I was able to buy the current model with similar features for about 27% off list price. (And it gets installed Tuesday.)

I never left the house today, but I bought a few Black Friday DVD specials at Amazon. It was pretty painless!

I find all this fuss about Black Friday so overwhelming I can't even think about going out to stores for shopping. I must have received 50 emails hawking something or another with incredible discounts but when you looked at them - you've guess, it was not what was advertised.
I like buying my gifts for family and friends with a calmer approach - it's about finding something you want to give someone not seeing how fast you can get mugged in the local mall. Happy shopping - no matter where and when you shop.:)

Me and my whole family went to a craft show 6.50 per person to enter, didn't purchase anything and then we went out to dinner :thumbsup2 70.00. I then had to by dog and cat food at Petsmart and washing liquid and dish liquid at Target, but had I not been out at dinner I would have gone tomorrow. :)

I purchased nothing that was really Black Friday related only things we needed regularly.:)

There was a few items I had my eye on. Only online though. Then my husband made a large-ish purchase on the credit card. It's a Christmas surprise for me, so I'm not upset at all. It was just a miscommunication. I refuse to put anything on the card that can't be paid off right away so I made the payment on the card for Black Friday:rotfl: It seems I didn't add a line for my own presents in the X-mas spreadsheet!
No big deal.. I have most of my Christmas shopping done anyway. It would have been stuff we didn't really need.

Me! I did not step foot into a store today!! I was thinking about going out just to "people watch," but decided to sleep in instead.! I love the hustle and bustle of Balck Friday...but not the mad rush for the products, the bickering, waiting on lines, rudeness of others...

We left for vacation this morning, so we did buy gas and meals out! Our only retail purchase was $2.99 for EOS chapstick for our youngest daughter!

Was a NO Spend black Friday for me as well. No online either..:thumbsup2

I almost bought a couple of things and then decided against it. Amazon had a few good deals but each one I deleted after I thought about it a few minutes. The one thing I DID want I couldn't click fast enough and the waitlist was way too long.

Okay, I lied... I JUST bought Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic on Steam for $5.

Nope...I never even left the house today:goodvibes. I was too busy putting up Christmas Decorations in preparation for us not being here the first 10 days of December since we will be at WDW. I'd rather spend my money there on stuff I don't need versus fighting the crowds this weekend for other stuff I really don't need.

I bought a birthday card & gift card for a friend. And then I went to work. Made it a lot easier to stay out of the stores. =)
